A makeup artist since 1992 having achieved an HND at The London College Of Fashion in hair and make-up fashion styling, her talent for creating the right look has seen Jo work on a diverse range of productions, including BBC ‘Attenborough At 90’, BBC Breakfast News, Crimewatch, Made In Chelsea, The BBC 999 Awards, GMTV, John bishop In Conversation With.., Have I Got News For You, and Sky Sports’ Soccer AM. Film work has included Ralph Fiennes’s Coriolanus, while her flair for interpreting the current makeup trends has seen her work appear in ads for Wispa and Bombay Sapphire fashion and editorial shoots for magazines including Vogue, Elle, Hello and OK!.
During her career, Jo has made up a wide variety of public figures and celebrities, including Trevor McDonald and Kirsty Young (on a regular basis), as well as Jon Snow, Carol Vorderman, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, Dustin Hoffman, Lenny Henry, Rick Edwards, John Barrowman, the bands ‘White Lies’, ‘Fightstar’ (Charlie Simpson of former band ‘Busted’) and The Stereophonic’s.
Alongside her TV and magazine work, Jo also can do make-up for special occasions, make-up lessons and also specialises in skin camouflage including temporary covering of tattoos.
