In May 1976, three camera department friends went out to shoot a commercial in the USA. Chatting to the local producers, they heard about an idea that was just taking off in LA – the Diary Service.

They liked it so much that one of them decided to start one, and Callbox was born.

From Soho to Santa Monica, we quickly became established as the UK’s number one diary service. Often imitated, never bettered, our crew work on everything from Bond and Star Wars movies to grime promos to live events like the Chelsea Flower show.

We represent all grades of film technician and supplier.
